Episode #80 - Carmen Smith

Carmen Smith, originally from western Sydney, is a singer songwriter and performer who has also worked, toured and written extensively with some of Australia’s best artists.

Her first experience as a backing vocalist came in 2004 with Guy Sebastian and his first nationwide tour.

Since that time Carmen has performed and toured with Diesel (support act), Jessica Mauboy, Stan Walker, Diana Rouvas, Ricki Lee, Rahsaan Patterson, Roachford,  Tina Arena and many others. 

Carmen joined the cast of The Voice in 2012 and became the first contestant ever to be disqualified from the show for "Breaking the spirit of the rules" by appearing in one of Guy Sebastian's music video's. 

But no big deal. That experience actually raised her profile quiet a bit and from that has gone on to release more solo music which included one of the coolest music videos ive ever seen, and she’s continued to tour and perform with the best in Australia as one of the most sort after voices in the game.
